First, a disclaimer: this is not mapping. Just some cool retro effects we projected. But what it lacks in technical wizardry, this project makes up for in attitude.

Rod Stewart's first new album in almost 20 years, "Time," due on May 7th, on Capitol Records.

PaintScaping projected retro patterns on Rod and his hot models for the music video of his new song "Sexual Religion."

Simply put, it was awesome.

The effects were created by Sally Steranko, one of PaintScaping's top AfterEffects animators.

Boulevard Industries was the production company behind the music video, and the reason PaintScaping was there! Thanks, guys!
