On May 6th, 2010, in Venice, CA, at the offices of motion capture facility Elektrashock, and using Autodesk’s MotionBuilder software, PaintScaping created a computer-animated character on stage, using self-projection on the mocap actor.

These are the very first tests for creating CGI characters on Broadway and Las Vegas.
